Meet up with an out of town visitor today, Doug from Pittsburgh, and we did a short trip on Ashville Bridge Creek and Muddy Creek. The weather was nice, but the wind was a little gusty, creating some minor problems for Doug since he was soloing in a canoe. We are not snobs, and do socialize with canoe paddlers, because someone needs to carry the ice chest...
The Lotus do not seem as healthy this year as in the past couple years, they are still covering more area, but appear unhealthy, could be the cooler then normal weather we had earlier, I have no idea.
The Creek is as usual nice and relaxing, but a little crowded today, normally I see 1 or 2 people out there, but today it was a total of around 10, and there was none of those silly "Eco Tours" today, just several small groups of people enjoying the creek.
