Found this launch site totally by accident, I was heading down to the General Vaughn Bridge launch to maybe paddle down to the border and the confluence of the Blackwater and Nottoway rivers, But I saw several empty boat trailers along the road, and cut through to the river. This required further investigation, so I turned around to take a look, and since I crossed over an interesting drawbridge a mile or so up the road, and I decided I would go and get some pictures of it.
The river here is nice and wide with a south bound current of about .75 MPH and provides a nice casual paddle, this would be a nice end to a one-way from Franklin.
