Well this is another of those places that I have not been back to in a while, but I have not been able to.
I have not been out to the ragged Islands in a couple years, and I felt like I needed a nice open water paddle to get back in shape as you can tell I have not been out much. The weather was pretty much perfect, calm winds sunny and warm.
The paddle out was uneventful, except for the complaints of muscles that have not been used in a while.
The islands are as beautiful as I remember, with various varieties of flowers growing along the shoreline. The is evidence of Otters in the area, as I spotted crab remnants at several places along the shore. The were also a large number of dragon flies in the air.
After cruising along the shore for a bit I decided to head out to remnants the old hunt club on the Southern Island. Along the way I came across a large flock of geese, that I didn't even see, and they departed rather quickly I was lucky enough to have the camera out and got a couple of good shots. I worked my way to the island, only to see that what is left of the chimney is still standing, but it doesn't look like it will last much longer, I think the only thing holding it up is a tree branch.
p.s. I have no idea what happened to the first couple of pictures
