Earlier in the week, I looked at the forecast, and made the decision to do some stuff at work that needed to be done, on a weekend, and I choose Saturday, because it was supposed to be pretty ugly. This morning was great, but I was doing stuff.
The radar looked clear, well at least clear of anything convective, so I decided to take a chance at Horn Point, and get a few more miles in the Capella, more time with the new paddle, and more time on the water. The more time I spend in this boat, the more I like it.
As soon as I got the kayak off the truck, the rain started, it was a nice gentle rain, and it was great. I enjoy paddling in the rain, as long as it is not a driving rain, but a gentle spring rain is fun.
Only a couple of pictures today, because of the rain.
By the way, Horn Point is open for the season, and the sandbar switched sides, making it a little difficult getting in and out of the water.
