Well it has been a long time since I have made it out on the water, and there are a lot of reasons, and a lot of lame excuses, and a lot of excuses for the excuses.
I was committed to getting the kayak on the water today, in any weather up to a full blown Northeaster.
I did get the kayak out on Ashville Bridge Creek, for a couple miles today, and my long hiatus was very apparent, as was the extra 20 pounds I put on since I quit smoking...
The trip it self was very uneventful, to get back in the swing....
