Just A Short One - Back Bay - North Bay

Been really busy for the last couple of weeks, and will be for a few more weeks. With the weather so nice, I had to get on the water for a little bit.
I took a short trip on Back Bay, it was pretty windy, probably in the 15-18 range. Water level was up in the average range, I launched from the sandbar, but probably could have launched from the ramp.
The bay is in the late summer mode, with a whole lot of nothing going on, I am really waiting for fall when everything gets quiet.
Not a lot of pictures this week, not much out there, but I was not looking that hard...

Lots of bugs that look like little grasshoppers all over the leaves. I could not get closer because they would all fly off.

Same picture as before, but it was overcast, so I used the flash

I have had a few inquiries about the Horn Point kayak and canoe launch. Primarily where the sand bar is. This is from the parking lot, and the launch is just to the right of the tree.

The sandbar is between the living tree and the dead tree, right where the green kayak is. there is a path over to the right, along the bay. I like the posts and rope to keep the eco-tour guys and their trailers off the grass.
