Well I thought I could go out on Back Bay, and cruise the lee side of Long Island and pretty much avoid most of the wind, but I was wrong. Being as the temperature was warming and the wind did not seem to bad at the launch, I opted to just go with the fleece, but that essentially turned in to a somewhat bad idea, but not that bad...
The wind was supposed to be out of the Southwest, but it was more South then South Southwest, which pretty much aligned with the channel, causing Victory at Sea conditions. I gave up any hope of taking anymore pictures and just decided to paddle around in the chop and slop, after swapping out the fleece for the drytop.
