When I got up it was snowing, with about a half an inch on the ground, and I decided to take out the kayak for a nice winter trip. The temperature was just below freezing, and very little wind. I loaded up the kayak and headed for Asheville Bridge Creek, when I got there the water level was about at the low end of being able to float the kayak, so I decided to go for it. I got the kayak through the mud to the water was headed down the creek, looking for deep enough water, and was doing pretty good, until I got to the area where the lotus grow. There I got to a low part of the creek, and could not make it any further. I did get a few pictures of the area, and I only wish I could of gotten further.
