Beautiful day, with cooler temps just breaking through 60 and variable winds. I really don't have a lot to say about this little trip, and I don't know why I picked the route I did. I guess it was just one of those days, couldn't get comfortable in the boat, my legs and back kept cramping up (until about halfway back), the batteries in the camera died, the dog ate my homework... I was originally planning on about 12 miles up to the Pocaty and back, but the way things were going I decided to just check out the off shoot of the main river, it was a nice area. The fall color is coming out as the nights have gotten colder... Maybe tomorrow...
