Windsor Castle Park
The Windsor Castle Park Kayak and Canoe launch, can be best described in two words, First Class.
This is a great purpose built facility for kayaks and canoes, with a launch ramp on a floating dock with rollers for relatively easy launch and recovery, I was a little apprehensive at first, because the 4 times I have flipped my kayak so far have all been doing bank launches then getting hung up in mid launch, but this was not the case with the setup here.
There is parking here for about 12 cars, which could be a problem on busy days as the parking is shared with the hiking trails that run through the park, but I guess you could park along the access road if necessary.
These waterways are tidal, so it is highly suggested that you check the tides before venturing out from this location. At low tide the ramp, can be a bit steep
