Route 671 VDGIF Launch - Kayak Virginia Beach

Route 671

This was one of those drive by finds, We were driving on route 58, and I saw one of the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries VDGIF boat launch sign, and we followed it. We found a typical VDGIF boat launch at the intersection of route 650 and route 671, at the Nottoway River.

The gravel lot appears that it will hold at least 10 vehicles and trailers so parking should not be an issue. From the parking area down the ramp it is about 50 yards to the river, and not to steep, but carrying a kayak up and down solo, may be a bit of a chore.

There are no other facilities here.

I have yet to launch here, but I plan on fixing that soon.
