Old Pungo Ferry Road Small Boat Launch

Old Pungo Ferry Road

Publicly Accessible, located adjacent to a scenic overlook at the end of Old Pungo Ferry Road. The launch area is a small beach to the South of the parking area (4 Cars). There is a small dock extending into the river, but it appears ready to fall into the river (Stick with the beach).

To the North is Capt George's Seafood Restaurant and a publicly accessible private beach/marina, I believe there is a $5 to $10 fee during the summer months for parking and beach access.

This is usually my back-up spot when the water levels are low. because the bottom is sand almost all the way out to the channel.
