Deep Bottom Park is a multi-purpose facility located in Henrico County. with full facilities supporting power and paddle boats.
The primary facility is 2 concrete ramps visible from the entrance of the park, and the canoe kayak dock is off to the right after you circle around and pass the restrooms.
The canoe kayak dock is at the end of about 60-70 yard paved trail. The dock itself is small with tall pilings, making it difficult to maneuver your canoe or kayak around, and the shoreline there is not real inviting with downed trees and rocks.
all that considered and the fact that I am not a big fan of dock launching, I think I will be using the main ramp.
