45th Street
45th Street Boat Ramp-Marina
Of the three Norfolk ramps that server the Lafayette River, this appears to be the least desirable. There is virtually no parking, except for the one block, 45th at the ramp everywhere else looked like it has a 2 hour limit on parking during the day. Turning around is not that easy, and impossible with a trailer.
The Lafayette River is tidal, so plan accordingly.
Considering that Haven Creek Boat Ramp, a nice new facility, is less then a mile away, you may want to use this as a back up if Haven Creek Boat Ramp is full.
